These photos were taken during an outing to the Arizona Renaissance Faire during the second week of festivities. This festival is held yearly down by the Superstition mountains in an area seemingly in the middle of nowhere. However distant the location may be, the trip is definitely worth it. I attended with several co workers who had been eagerly planning the trip for weeks and have to say that I was quite pleased with the atmosphere, performers and overall ambience. The wide variety of concessions, comedy shows and alcohol made things all the more interesting. In terms of gifts, the prices were rather steep for clothing items, trinkets and hats, but you get what you pay for with the quality of the items. For free events, the Hey Nunnie Nunnie show, Zilch the Torysteller and Dead Bob Show were definite highlights of the trip. For these alone, I plan on attending again.
